CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
we would love to read your:
short proposal with illustrations of your proposed design (on 18 x 24 in. sheet), 250-word personal statement, 3-day building schedule, $3000 budget, and a description of the team’s building expertise; 5 people maximum per team
visuals must be handmade (e.g. draft, sketch, 3D model); no computer-rendered images
sukkah designs must have at least 3 walls, each a minimum length of 28 inches, and the walls must extend at least 40 inches high, enclosing an area of 6 ft x 6 ft (16 sq cubits). the sukkah's roof should provide shade only, not rain protection, and should not impede a view of the stars.
possible materials to consider include but are not limited to: cork, seaweed, mycelium block, straw, corn husks, hemp, bamboo, flax, coconut fiber, biochar, leather, wool, salvaged wood, clay, shells
